Suncoast Mission Realty Advisors was founded by Wayne Ruben and Beaver Shriver, who bring complementary backgrounds in Sarasota-area commercial real estate and nonprofit leadership together under one roof. We started this firm because we kept seeing the same problem: nonprofits making major real estate decisions, often the largest financial commitments in their history, without the kind of expert guidance that for-profit businesses take for granted. We built Suncoast to change that.
Wayne Ruben
Managing Director, Client Delivery
Wayne has spent decades in Sarasota-area commercial real estate across ownership, management, development, and construction, including his early career with Benderson Development Company when it first established its Florida operations. Over the years, he's built relationships with the local brokers, contractors, lenders, and county officials who make projects happen. Wayne leads and executes every Suncoast client engagement, bringing hands-on transaction expertise and local market knowledge to each project from day one.
Beaver Shriver
Managing Director, Business Development
Beaver brings a nonprofit leadership background to Suncoast, having founded a 501(c)(3) organization and built a consulting practice serving mission-driven organizations. He leads Suncoast's outreach, building relationships directly with nonprofit executive directors and boards and with the local foundations that fund the capital projects nonprofits undertake. Beaver's focus is making sure every client gets a partner who understands both the real estate and the mission behind it.
